Acquisition financing drives active syndicated-loan markets

Acquisition finance was particularly active during the week, with sizeable loan commitments supporting transactions in building materials, industrial cooling and payments. The activity came as issuers and sponsors continued to use favourable financing conditions to complete acquisitions and lock in funding.
