Questions
The things worth asking first.
- What does it cost me?
- Nothing, at any stage. Providers pay DCM Insider a fee when we make an introduction. You are never invoiced and there is no charge on whatever you go on to agree with a firm.
- Where do my details go?
- To the firms you pick from the shortlist, up to the number you chose, and no further. We don’t sell contact details and we don’t pass your enquiry to firms you didn’t select.
- Is the shortlist ranked by who pays?
- Sponsored entries appear first and are labelled as sponsored every time. Organic matches are not paid for and are there because they fit the requirement. If nothing paid fits, nothing sponsored is shown.
- Do you vet the providers?
- We check that a firm genuinely does the work you asked about, in the market you asked about. We don’t rate, endorse or guarantee anyone — the diligence and the appointment are yours.
- What if none of them fit?
- Tell us and we’ll go back and look again. There’s no obligation to take an introduction, and no obligation to appoint anyone we introduce.
- How does this relate to Switchboard?
